Tadalafil belongs to the group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE 5) inhibitors, primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Erectile dysfunction is the inability to keep a hard and erect penis suitable for sexual activity. Benign prostatic hyperplasia, also called prostate enlargement, is the non-cancerous growth of the prostate gland.
Tadalafil contains ‘Tadalafil’, which works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis; this allows the blood to flow into the penis when the person is sexually excited. Thereby, it helps to treat erectile dysfunction. Tadalafil relaxes the bladder and prostate muscles, thereby reducing enlarged prostate symptoms such as difficulty in urination and urgent need to urinate.
You are advised to take Tadalafil for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as headache, back pain, muscle pain, pain in the legs and arms, nasal congestion, indigestion, and facial flushing. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
Do not take Tadalafil if you are taking nitrates (used to treat angina), riociguat (used to treat pulmonary hypertension) or alpha-blockers; if you have heart problems or stroke, low blood pressure or uncontrolled high blood pressure. Tadalafil is not intended for use in women. Tadalafil may cause dizziness, so drive with caution. Avoid consuming alcohol as it might cause increased dizziness. Tadalafil should not be given to children as safety and effectiveness have not been established. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and the medicines you are taking to avoid unpleasant side effects.

.- Drink plenty of fluids while taking Tadalafil to stay hydrated and get enough nutrients to support your body. Tadalafil may slow down how much nutrients your body absorbs and this may help to improve your condition.
.- Avoid drinking alcohol while taking Tadalafil, as it may cause too much of the drug into your body.
.- If you have difficulty in getting an erection, you may take Tadalafil with an oral sex partner, such as your doctor or a partner you have known to have difficulty getting an erection, e.g. your doctor will suggest Tadalafil for erectile dysfunction, benign prostatic hyperplasia or prostate enlargement.
See the 'Instructions' of your doctor if you take any of these medications as prescribed by your doctor as soon as you get an erection, and have taken Tadalafil for erectile dysfunction, benign prostatic hyperplasia or both.1. I’ve been using Cialis for quite some time. My question is – I am going to be doing the following, which I have done before –
1. I will have to do the Cialis before going for my period, which is not going to happen, but I am wondering how this medication affects me and my body if any. Can I do that if I am taking any medicine?
2. I will need to do the Cialis in the morning and I will be using Tadalafil. But I will not be able to do it at night, so I have to take the pill around the same time every day.
3. I am going to be taking Tadalafil at night, so I don’t want to go through the night with my Cialis in the morning. Please advise.
4. I have heard that Cialis may increase the amount of time it takes to achieve an erection. Is this true?
5. I will be taking Tadalafil at night, but I am not a regular user and I am not a fan of taking Tadalafil as it may increase the amount of time I should take to achieve an erection. Can I take a Tadalafil tablet at night or should I stick with Tadalafil?
6. I am going to be taking Tadalafil daily. I will not be able to do the Cialis at the same time every day, but I will be taking the pill around the same time every day.
7. I will be doing the Cialis for the first time, and will be using Tadalafil daily.
